Statement necklaces are everywhere today, right?
No problem with me, I love them! I think they go great with my body size... (big bosom girl...)
So this was my first attempt on doing my own one.
What you need:
- wooden beads (different sizes if you like the look of mine)
- craft paint, gloss glaze (I spraypainted mine)
- embroidery yarn
- chain
1) Paint your beads, let them dry, decide if the need a second layer of paint, gloss them, let them dry again. (I put my beads on some wooden skewers a had on hand to easily paint and gloss them without getting myfingers to dirty)
2) String the beads onto your string.
3) Tie your bead string to each side of the chain.
I did three strings for this one, but I think this would also look nice with more smaller bead strings or just simply one string.
