We are back from a two weeks staycation from my parents house. We were housesitting while they went off to croatia, which isn´t the greatest or coolest vacations I ever did, but we had a garden, 150m2 and three cats, so it was really nice after all.
I´ve been quite productive this last week...
I have sewn two new circles, which makes a total of seven so far.
Thought about how big this piece is going to be, and I think I need at least 14 more circles, which at the moment sounds managable till october.
I lately found out the finishing-up part is where I totally lack at the moment, see my baby quilt and nearly no progress there again (I have sewn the epp piece to the white boarder fabrique with the sewing maschine and cut the yellow boarder fabrique, but this isn´t even worth taking a photo...), but I´ll try my best.
I was able to baste two white hexagones, six triangles and 36 squares yesterday evening while watching TV with the man and the baby was asleep though, I think that is quite a progress and a good base to start the sewing week.
A whole stash of squares and triangles is cut and ready to baste, which I would also call big progress since cuting can be really time consuming I think.
And, to finish this post, I tried something new and worked my way around a proper label for the baby quilt, all thanks to selfsewns great tutorial! I have to admit, I really love this one!
Lets all hope for long naps again this week so mommy can make some progress again :)
(Even though I enjoy every wake minute with her, there is sooo much new every day!)

As always I'm linking up with Jessicas MondayMorningStarCount over at lifeunderquilts.com, I´m really curious what the other ladies are up to...
