Are you this person who always buys new straws whenever they have a new colour collection at ikea? Although you have already three unused packs at home?
No? Oh, ups, sorry, that was me...
So new ideas what to do with the straws are always great.
For this one I combined two different projects and many ideas from pinterest.
I saw this plant hanger on Elise´s blog and loved it: Elise´s plant hanger with rope
She used simple rope and pots and created beautiful plant hangers. Use her tutorial, it´s really great and simple.
Another great source was this on Rachels Smileandwave-Blog.
For her tutorial she used straws and created a wonderful himmeli (google "Himmeli" and you find great pictures too!).
Last but not least and of cours...Pinterest
And then I put all of this together, and this is what it turned out:
First I just used the straws and had a Himmeli out of simple kitchen cord and straws. Hmmm.... great... but what for...
Then I tried a little more and I ended up with these two plant hangers out of straws and rope. I really like them!
What you need:
- scissors, maybe a really big needle for the kitchen cord
- kitchen cord
- straws
- rope
Please read Elise´s and Rachel´s tutorials for the projects, their explanations are so good, I thought there is no reason in trying something better :)
