I love to transform stuff I have.
Probably every girl has a lot of cheap jewelery lying around, I´ve got tons!
So I used inspiration and did this.
You need:
- cheap bracelet
- embroidery thread
- super glue
- scissors
- embroidery needle
1) Choose whatever colours you like. Start by glueing the end of yours first colour onto the bracelet. (Don´t be scared, you will not see this in the end!)
2) Now start wrapping the thread around your bracelet. This is the fun part, choose how big your stripes should be. You can work with just two colours, or as many as you think look great. My size of the stripes depended on the amount of thread I had on hand, I just used leftovers.
3) If you want to end with one colour, just glue the end onto your bracelet the same way you did with the beginning. Start with the next colour and hide your end and beginning with the tread.
4) The finish is a little bit tricky first, but you will see, it works perfect. Use your embroidery needle to stitch your yarn through some of the already wrapped part. You maybe want to fix the whole thing with just a little bit of super glue, just to be sure. Do this on the inside of your bracelet.
5) Finished!
Have fun!
