After nearly six weeks of baby-caused EPP absence I try to get back on the track.
Okay, it´s not actually EPPing, but I working on finishing my last EPP-piece, my babyquilt for Anna.
Yesterday I started to applique the white boarder, it´s small progress, but at least it is a start.
After appliquing the white fabrique all around, there will be another borderstripe in the yellow fabrique seen below.
The lilac polkadot will probably be my binding, and the darkviolett one is for the backside.
I orderd these three online (www.butinette.at), and I´m pretty pleased with hoe they look in real life, the colours are as vibrant as I hoped they would be.
Hopefully next week there will be more progress to be shown, lets see how this week works out for little A and me...
As always I'm linking up with Jessicas MondayMorningStarCount over at lifeunderquilts.com, I´m really curious what the other ladies are up to...
this is going to be so beautiful when finished...love the backing fabric for this one as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the colours you chose!
ReplyDeleteI didn't finish my son's baby quilt until he was 3 months old- which turned out to be just about right! This quilt is gorgeous and will be done soon enough...
ReplyDeleteYum. Love it!
